I lost my cane and was hoping someone would return it. I’m a veteran and American flags cover the entire cane. Leave it at Walgreens on State Road 27 and South Street. I need it for walking. Please return my cane.

You people keep on cutting through our wonderful little town of Windermere. We know you’re jealous that you don’t live here. We’re going to make a lot of money off of you. You talk on cell phones and don’t stop at pedestrian crossings when the light is blinking. I guess you don’t see well enough or think you won’t get caught. You speeders down Main Street and Maguire Road: We are watching for you.

I also will not knowingly buy anything made in China. Have you looked at labels? So far my eggs are not made in China, so I’m eating a lot of eggs.

I’m ticked off because everyone was talking about giving tips to the garbage men, the mail men, the manicurists and hairdressers. What about cash and money for people who take care of your children before, during and after school? These are your kids %26#8212; not your trash %26#8212; and we deserve better than what you’ve given us.

I’m ticked at the Seminole County jury system. It seems only a third of those eligible are being called to serve regularly. There are people who have gone 20 years without being called. After I’ve served, I should not be called again until everyone eligible has served.

There was an article in the paper saying 100,000 new neighbors are coming by 2030 to live in Orlando and Central Florida. I’m so excited! I hope they bring their own water!

the flip sideMy husband and I were eating brunch at First Watch, and a kind couple told the waitress they wanted to pay for our breakfast. We didn’t know them, and this blew our minds.

I would like to thank the outstanding personnel at M.D. Anderson’s lab for their gentle caring touch and the outstanding personnel on the fifth floor chemo section. Their cheery upbeat attitude makes each experience as pleasant as possible.

My humble thanks to the diner who turned in my little purse at Hana Sushi restaurant in Altamonte Springs and to the kind waiters who called me to let me know that it was there with everything intact. How wonderful not to have to replace all of those IDs.
