Summer Camps Are Starting Up

Here’s an idea.Summer camps in Bibb county are starting up.Swimming, sports, and arts and crafts are just some of the activities being offered to kids.
LaTanya Sandifer with the Macon-Bibb county recreation department says summer camps give kids a chance to gain new interests and hobbies.
“well i think it gives the kids something to do i mean they are out for
eight weeks, eight to ten weeks I think, during the summer months. And this is a very constructive supervised program were the kids get to meet new friends, spark an interest in a hidden hobbies that they may or may not know that they have. and just give something to do for the summer. “
